Hebrew: סֶלָה (selah)
“Selah” is a Hebrew term appearing 71 times in Psalms and 3 times in Habakkuk. Its exact meaning isn’t certain, but it’s generally understood as a musical or liturgical instruction, possibly indicating a pause, interlude, or moment for reflection.
When you see “selah”, it isn’t part of the sentence or prayer. It’s a notation embedded in the Psalm.
