Women at the Crucifixion

All four Gospels record that several women remained near the cross during the crucifixion of Jesus. While many of the disciples had fled, these women stayed nearby and later became witnesses to both the burial and the Resurrection.

The Gospel writers sometimes list slightly different names, which reflects that several women were present near the cross during the crucifixion.
