- Inscribed: “Joseph, son of Caiaphas” – dated to the time of Jesus
- Ornate design points to a wealthy, high-status family
- Caiaphas was a rare name at the time
- Caiaphas was the high priest tied to Jesus’ trial in the Gospels
- Widely considered strong evidence of the Caiaphas family outside Scripture
