
Sometimes it all seems lost. There is no hope at all. Only darkness seems to lie ahead.
Two criminals were crucified beside Jesus. One joined the crowd in mocking him. The other saw something different. He admitted his own guilt and recognized that Jesus had done nothing wrong.
In the middle of that hopelessness, he made a simple request to Jesus. “Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him with the greatest love of all. He said, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Hope is never truly lost while we are still living. We can always just choose to do the next right thing. Salvation can arrive at the very last second. Grace is available at all times.
