There was a woman in Jericho who hid two foreign spies in her home while her city prepared for war. The walls were still standing. No trumpet had sounded. No proof had been given. But she had heard enough about Israel’s God to stake her life on it. Rahab tied a scarlet cord in her window and chose allegiance before outcome. She moved before the miracle.
Faith does not wait for visible victory. Faith chooses allegiance without knowing if the walls will fall or not.
This is the Shield of Faith.
